Job Description

About the team: This team is responsible for analyzing and investigating inventory discrepancies found during the cycle count process by leading cross functional teams to determine the root cause and establish appropriate counter measures.

 

What you can look forward to as a Supply Chain Specialist:

  • Manage the cycle count analysis and investigation process in compliance with established procedures and company objectives.
  • Gain working knowledge in machining and assembly count analysis and be able to handle both as needed.
  • Complete all steps in the count discrepancy investigation process and identify root cause.
  • Train Supply Chain Specialist I and Cycle Counters in analysis procedures and functions
  • Lead in the preparation and execution of the annual physical inventory count.
  • Perform necessary SAP transactions and postings to ensure inventory levels for each location in SAP match the counted quantity found during the cycle count.
  • Maintain adequate cycle count records and meet established inventory KPI’s to ensure SAP movements and investigations are completed timely.
  • Lead cross functional teams across all departments to identify root causes for inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

 

Your profile as a Supply Chain Specialist:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.  Preferred in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or similar
  • 4-5+ years’ experience in supply chain or a relate field
  • In-depth knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within supply chain management
  • Problem solving skills and focus on continuous improvement
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with interpreting and manipulating large amounts of data
