Job Description

What you can look forward to as a Quality Engineer:

  • Adhere to company corporate principles, quality standards, and automotive/customer requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate manufacturing processes and product quality to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Develop, maintain, and retain quality documentation, including procedures, risk analyses, audits, recalls, complaints, scrap, and rework records.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and measurement requirements, including GD&T, and support engineering changes for quality compliance.
  • Provide guidance and training to manufacturing personnel on quality systems, tools, and best practices.
  • Apply quality, problem-solving, lean, and continuous improvement tools to drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, communicate effectively, escalate issues when necessary, and support team objectives to protect customers.
  • Act with an auditor mindset focused on compliance and improvement, supporting special projects and additional assigned duties.

 

Your profile as a Quality Engineer:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 3–4 years of relevant experience (internships/co-ops included).
  • Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, techniques, practices, and design principles.
  • Experience with engineering change management systems and product lifecycle processes.
  • Proven problem-solving ability using sound judgment aligned with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • High level of analytical thinking, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel and management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and English language skills (verbal and written).
