Job Description
The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and supervising production personnel, ensuring that all procedures and work instructions are followed to meet or exceed customer and company expectations for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

- Lead assigned team leaders and employees to ensure smooth daily operations

- Act as the liaison between employees and the company

- Improve production processes through waste reduction, problem solving, and continuous improvement
- Understand, comply with, and enforce KPIs, IATF 16949, ISO‑14001, Continuous Improvement, SAP, and ZF policies
- Prioritize production needs, make decisions, and distribute machine work orders to meet departmental and company goals
- Review/approve timecards and manage employee training, qualifications, growth, and development
Your Profile as Production Supervisor I:
- High School diploma or GED required
- 2–4+ years of related experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Proficient computer skills, including strong MS Office (Excel)
- Proven leadership and problem‑solving abilities
- Knowledge of common manufacturing/operations concepts, practices, and procedures
- Ability to operate production/manufacturing equipment and train others to do the same
- Basic understanding of plant operations management and lean principles; English language competency
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
