About the Team

The Plant Quality team is dedicated to driving continuous improvement through advanced problem-solving methodologies, quality systems, and cross-functional collaboration. The team supports manufacturing operations by identifying risks, resolving complex quality issues, and ensuring compliance with customer and automotive quality requirements. Working closely with Engineering, Operations, and other support functions, the team develops sustainable solutions that enhance product quality, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. A strong focus is placed on knowledge sharing, employee development, and the implementation of best practices across the organization.

 

 

What you can look forward to as Plant Quality Engineer:

  • Lead and support major problem-solving projects, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
  • Collaborate with Quality Engineers and cross-functional teams to drive the successful completion of critical quality and customer-focused projects.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve quality documentation, procedures, templates, and data management systems to reduce risk and enhance operational performance.
  • Create and deliver training programs on basic and advanced problem-solving methodologies, quality tools, and best practices.
  • Monitor manufacturing processes and product quality to ensure compliance with customer specifications, automotive standards, and internal requirements.
  • Support customer complaint investigations, corrective and preventive actions, and lessons learned activities to improve product and process quality.
  • Provide guidance to manufacturing personnel on quality systems, problem-solving techniques, and the effective use of quality tools.
  • Participate in engineering change activities and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure conformity with quality standards and business objectives.

 

 

Your Profile as Plant Quality Engineer:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 3–4 years of relevant experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, continuous improvement, or problem-solving activities (internships/co-ops included).
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems, automotive quality requirements, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T specifications, and measurement data.
  • Experience developing procedures, training materials, and standardized methodologies to support quality and problem-solving processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels and communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
