About the Team
This role supports cross functional problem solving by interpreting engineering prints, driving corrective actions, and developing methodologies to ensure high-quality outcomes for both internal and external customers. It independently leads 8D activities, collaborates with customer and supplier quality teams, and contributes to preventing failures through data analysis, testing, and inspection system development.

 

What you can look forward to as Plant Engineer II: 

  • Interpret prints and measurement tools (GD&T).
  • Support in cross-functional working groups and assist the conclusion of activities. 
  • Trigger additional escalation levels as needed to protect internal and external customer.
  • Creation and development of methodologies and templates for problem solving based on each specific customer request and requirement.
  • Support and works independently to Create, implement, document, and maintain permanent corrective actions for internal and external 8Ds.
  • Support projects for avoiding and preventing failure occurrence in the early stage of projects.
  • Support Customer and Supplier Quality Engineers in direct discussion with supplier or customer
  • Works actively on development and management of test and inspection systems as required for each individual problem-solving project as well as creation and analysis of data. 

 

Your profile as Plant Engineer II:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering 
  • 3-4 years of experience (automotive industry preferred) 
  • Proven creativity and analytical methods with a high-level of attention to detail
  • Ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel and management
  • Working knowledge of product line(s) and engineering design principles.
  • Experience with engineering change systems.
  • Advanced understanding of engineering techniques and principles.
