Job Description

About the team: The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for directing & prioritizing assets (manpower, materials, machine availability & other resources) as required to support the manufacturing facility, and is able to facilitate the programs/processes for asset reliability & continuous improvement. 

 

What you can look forward to as a Maintenance Supervisor:

  • Lead and direct maintenance teams (mechanical/electrical technicians, MRO/Crib, planners) to improve equipment reliability, safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.

  • Develop, implement, and sustain preventive and predictive maintenance programs in collaboration with Production, Engineering, and OEMs to maximize machine availability.

  • Plan and coordinate materials, manpower, and resources for daily operations, shutdowns, and projects using SAP PM and Axalant, ensuring full documentation and execution.

  • Drive asset care excellence through training, inspections, lubrication, cleaning, and continuous improvement initiatives to prevent repeat failures.

  • Manage MRO inventory, warranties, tooling, spares, lubrication systems, and component availability to support production and control costs.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory standards (IATF 16949, ISO 14000, ISO/TS/QS, 5S, Corporate Principles).

  • Oversee workforce development and performance management, including training, certifications, timekeeping, coaching, discipline, and succession planning.

  • Serve as shift liaison and operational backup, supporting cross-shift communication, emergency response readiness, and flexible coverage across all shifts.

 

Your profile as a Maintenance Supervisor:

  • High School Diploma or GED with 2–5+ years of relevant maintenance or manufacturing experience.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills in a production or maintenance environment.

  • Proven leadership ability with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Working knowledge of maintenance concepts, practices, and procedures.

  • Experience repairing and supporting production/manufacturing equipment, with the ability to train others.

  • Understanding of machining, production processes, and equipment maintenance/repair methods.

  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel).

  • English language proficiency with flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends, as needed.
