Working alongside Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Production groups, the E-Mobility Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for developing training procedures, and supporting the implementation of e-Mobility activities; ensuring product quality and process efficiency. 

 

What you can look forward to as the E-Mobility Manufacturing Manager:

  • Work with test engineering and manufacturing engineering team in defining the set up for the test equipment, test operations, facilities, lab, garage, and vehicles.

  • Support the activities of Manufacturing Engineers and engineering support functions.

  • Support the manufacturing engineering team in planning, select, design, and develop manufacturing methods and processes.

  • Support in the definition of the specification, justification, purchase, runoff, and installation of new or existing equipment/process. Ensures changes to enhance the machine functionality of the equipment.

  • Developing a team to support the E-Mobility launches.

  • Identify and establish necessary on-site test equipment in alignment with the global divisional test committee. 

  • Support the procurement and installation of equipment.

  • Be part of the E-Mobility global team connecting product development, manufacturing engineering and operations.

  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers to meet common goals.

  • Manage the engineering function within our quality systems (ISO, QS, IATF, etc.) and company policies and procedures.

Your profile as the E-Mobility Manufacturing Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

  • 12+ years of advanced, relevant working experience

  • Electric mobility expertise

  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience

  • Expert-level knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within Engineering

  • Experience with customer communication systems and methods

  • Extensive experience with engineering change systems

  • Extensive experience with product design/development processes

  • Expert-level knowledge of company products and services acquired through experience and training

  • Expert-level understanding of engineering techniques and principles

  • Working knowledge of business strategy and/or strategic planning
