Position Summary: Responsible for the accurate counting of raw material, components, and finished material and reporting findings.
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct cycle counts of production materials, in-house or off-site based on systematic A/B/C classification
- Manage and update count and count tracking spreadsheets
- Work cross functionally with team members, production, and logistics to find missing material
- Perform required SAP transactions for inventory analysis
- Support in the planning, preparation, and execution of the annual physical inventory
- Open bulk bins, totes, and other containers to count items and/or weigh materials to determine quantity
- Assists in developing solutions for inventory discrepancies
- Understand and comply with IATF 16949 and ISO 14000 requirements.
- Supports and complies with established Company’s Corporate Principles.
- Other duties as it relates to this position.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Possess a work ethic that encourages the highest level of accuracy and quality
- Strong time management skills and able to work independently
- Ability to work well with others
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented
Preferred Skills and experience:
- Cycle counting experience a plus
- Experience with SAP and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience in the automotive industry
