We have a new and exciting opening as Customer Product Manager in our Key Account Management Electronics team located in Gothenburg / Sweden. 
  
About the Team: 
We are a dynamic sales team consisting of Sales and supporting functions working with one of the major global premium Commercial Vehicle customers of ZF. You will be taking part in a very dynamic and high paced market environment where we as a sales team need to be flexible, customer oriented and have a world class delivery in service and business mindset. What you can look forward to as Customer Product Manager (m/f/d):

  • Full accountability for the commercial relationship in your assigned product group with the customer (e.g. negotiation, new business wins, business plan setting, revenue management, contract negotiations, cash-collection etc.).
  • Lead all commercial customer related topics (or where applicable), support other departments in negotiations with the customer. Such matters could among others be cost tracking, contracts such as general terms and conditions, any kind of reimbursements discussions, logistic issues handling, logistics emergency routine etc.
  • Leading the technical and commercial change discussion with the customer during project phase and after SOP.
  • Strong global collaboration with ZF internal “Core Team” of Engineering, Product Line Management, Finance and Operations. 
  • Provide timely communication to OEM related unit or plants when changes occur which affects customer’s products or business opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain contacts with OEM customer, including engineering, purchasing, SQA and other areas of customer management.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of customer requirements and translates those into opportunities for ZF.
  • Take part in the preparation of the Strategic Plan as well as the Operations Plan and assume responsibility for trucks production, volume and sales planning for its customer.
  • Support market research and marketing communication activities by providing market and competition information to relevant departments within ZF.
  • Ensure early involvement in customers’ new development programs (next product generations / platforms)


Your profile as Customer Product Manager (m/f/d):

  • Degree in Marketing or Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Solid business background of 3-5 years in the automotive industry
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in Swedish and English
  • Determined and self-driven personality with strong will to achieve targets
  • Solution provider, with good sense of business strategy and negotiation tactics
  • Team player that will work from our office in Gothenburg with frequent visits to our customer headquarter also located in Gothenburg.
  • Occasional international travels required.
