¡Come and join to the Passive Safety Systems Division as Project Mgr II-Gen at La Laguna Plant!

Responsibilities

• Manage without the need for significant direction, projects within the business unit in accordance with ZF's new product introduction management process requirements.
• Manage all aspects of a project over the entire life of the project as shown by the following project phases: initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, control and closing.
• Support acquisition activities during pre-award phases on a case-by-case basis as agreed with program management director and/or sales management lead.
• Manage the customer interface from award through post launch phases.
• Interface with all areas affected by the project, ensure successful integration of all project work products.
• Balance the competing demands of scope, time and cost while achieving the highest quality and stakeholder/customer satisfaction levels.
• Monitor progress of projects through internal reviews, participate in team meetings and assist where needed, resolve escalated issues internally and with the customer.
• Support existing programs that have major changes directed by the customer and participate in VAVE cost reduction activities.
   

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor of Science in project management, engineering or related technical field required.
• Professional Certifications: Preferred CAPM certification through the Program Management Institute (PMI)
• +5 experience in Automotive Industry product development with at least two years of project management experience.
• English proficiency required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to lead and motivate others
• Experience with SAP, Microsoft Project and MS Office
