¡Come and join to the Passive Safety Systems Division as Launch Engineer at La Laguna IRS Plant!

 

Responsibilities

  • Engineering Change Coordination (ECS), Coordinate obsolete material.                                    
  • Complete CQA release.                                    
  • Initiation of inventory control meetings for Engineering change or Balance Out.                                    
  • Validation of program labels at launch + 90 days of production.                                    
  • Cut-off available for new program construction                                    
  • Secure components for supplier validation phases, training and customer phases.                                    
  • Ensure product BOM costing.                                    
  • BR, SA & PO available for new products                                                                                                        
  • Oversee that all upcoming customer purchase orders are shipped on time following correct purchase and shipping instructions.                                    
  • eBPW Available                                    
  • Submit validation parts for approval.                                    
  • BPW Build Request                                    
  • Build Request (New Products)                                                                
  • Ensure shipment of product required for engineering change.                                                                                        
  • PPAP of components                                                                
  • Elaboration of production plans (ramp up).                                    
  • Move material from production area to shipments.                                    
  • CRVs, Schedule A, CQMS, etc. (Customer Portals)                                    
  • PDCA Meeting (All programs).                                                        
  • Coordinate with customer all prototypes and pre-production orders.                                    
  • Deviations.    

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or related field.
  • +4 years of experience in:
  • Blueprint and Specification Reading
  • Personal Relationship Management
  • Microsoft Office Management 
  • Manufacturing Processes
  • Product knowledge / air bags
  • WINDCHILL knowledge
  • SAP/ R3 knowledge  
  • Customer Specific Requirements
  • Safety procedures.
  • Green belt
  • Project Management
  • Risk Analysis
