¡Come and join to the Passive Safety Systems Division as EHS Coordinator or Officer at La Laguna IRS Plant!

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure that the plant is in compliance with Legal/Corporate Environmental and Safety Laws and Regulations.                                    
• Oversee and ensure that the plant is in compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001 guidelines.                                    
• Support and supervise the fulfillment of the company's Safety and Environmental objectives corresponding to their function or area of responsibility.                                    
• Comply with the Policies and Procedures of the Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems established by the company.                                                                                
• Supervise and Coordinate Legal and Corporate Trainings related to ehs.                                    
• Supervise and ensure that employees have a safe work environment.                                     
• Maintain a pollution free environment                                    
• Ensure SEDENA permits are obtained.                                    
• Supervise and coordinate the plant's health and safety committee.                                                                     
• Supervise emergency and first aid brigades.                                     
• Maintain and supervise Plant Safety Plan.                                                             
• Authority to coordinate and request adjustments to the maintenance personnel, as well as to stop any act that the maintenance department performs in an unsafe manner.          

Required Skills & Experience

• Completed degree in Safety, Industrial Engineering or similar. 
• +3 years of experience in Industrial Safety, Occupational Health, Mexican Regulations, Civil Protection Regulations.
• Knowledge of Environmental Law
• Management and knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
• Health and Safety 
• STPS Laws
• Computer systems management
