Senior Cost Model Engineer

Your Tasks:

• Manage Technological Cost Engineering programs for commodity (stamping/ bearings/ tubes/ springs/ friction/ connectivity and switches/ assemblies);
• Work closely with Global Purchasing Commodity, Engineering and Product Line team members to support sourcing decisions with cost models per plan;
• Cooperate with suppliers to develop their cost model;
• Develop and apply cost models for analysis of: current product, engineering changes, future product design, material cost increase offset;
• Present the project results to middle and upper management.

Your Profile:

• University degree;
• Proven experience within engineering roles (Cost Engineering/Process Engineering /Product Engineering/ Sales Engineering/ Project Management or VAVE);
• Strong communication and organizational skills;
• Very good English in speaking and writing;
• Automotive work experience would be advantageous.
