Your main tasks:

  • Continuous enhancement of the local human resources processes, policies and communications as well as supporting the global HR Strategy, policies & procedures
  • Providing strategic and day-to-day operational tasks to drive the delivery of the business`HR plans by performing full range of HR activities and by giving guidance to employees and managers (Recruiting & Onboarding; Compensation & Benefits; People & Organizational Development; Conflict & Discipline management etc).
  • Ensure full legislative compliance with relevant labour legislation including EE, Skills Development, BCEA, LRA and prevailing Collective agreement
  • Handle all disciplinary and poor work performance measures, including company representation at the CCMA & Bargaining Council.
  • Effectively manage and implement EE Transformation, including the Compilation and submission of EE Plans and Annual EE Reports, as well as coordinating EE committee activities
  • Manage all training interventions, including the compilation and submission of Annual Training report and Workplace Skills Plan to the MerSeta
  • Manage the payroll
  • Manage and maintain all HR system related processes, including, Employee records, Recruitment, Org charts
  • Engage with a compliance agency to build and maintain the company’s BBBEE status, coordinating the verification process together with the agency


Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human resources
  • 10 years’ experience working in HR with 5 years’ experience as a HR Manager
  • Excellent labour relations knowledge
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal & written) & interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking as well as problem-solving skills
  • Must be detail orientated with the ability to work in a pressurized environment
  • High level of self-motivation, determination & commitment
