Program Buyer (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Program Buyer (m/f/d) at our location in Gebze/Kocaeli.

Tasks:   

• Manage Sourcing Decision Process pipeline (SWAT) for new projects and coordination of handover process with the Commodity Organization for awarded projects.
• Responsible for Launch Management Process, Timing tracking and Supplier Readiness including Prototypes for awarded business (components).
• Serve as a primary liaison for purchasing department between sales, program management, quality, engineering, prototype lab, and logistics groups to resolve issues as needed; manage escalations within purchasing department and serve as back-up for Purchasing Manager as required.
• Coordination of Product Change Management Process (internal interface) and Supplier Change Implementation when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Profile:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field, 3+ years of progressive experience in a professional purchasing capacity (i.e.technical / commodity purchasing, purchasing project management, etc.) (in Automotive sector is must have)
• Proven ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel and management
• Solid organizational and time/project management skills
• No military obligation for male candidates & Living or willing to live in Asian side of İstanbul or Kocaeli (Gebze & İzmit)
• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Turkish (We would like to ask you to provide an English version of your CV)
