For our location at Gebze/Kocaeli, we are looking for a Commodity Buyer - Functional Plastics (m/f/d).

Your Tasks:

Collaborate in the management of commodity savings (product family) in all Product Lines (PLs), to achieve the objectives set in the budget.
Driving Global Competitive Sourcing (GSC).
Negotiation and lead contact for several global suppliers. Confirm supplier´s capacity and material availability.
Management of continuous supplier improvement (business review, general quality,…).
Maintenance of savings / inflation in the Purchasing system (MAPS - CSO) and support operational purchasing tasks (purchase orders, invoices, etc,)

Your Profile:

Willing to be part of a creative commodity group & eager to overcome difficult challenges
Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field and experience about 2 years in a similar function or at least 3 years in the automotive sector
Financial knowledge, MS Office skills and user of SAP
Fluent in both written and spoken English & Turkish
Living or willing to live in Asian side of İstanbul or Kocaeli (Gebze & İzmit) and no military obligation for male candidates
