We are looking to hire a Senior Quality Technician

Responsibilities

• Review documents for relevance and technical accuracy, maintenance of document and record databases. Manage record retention and disposal activities.
• Lead, develop, document and implement APQP and PPAP disciplines.
• Develop work instructions (Process Sheets) for new part launches.
• Investigate root cause and lead problem solving activities. Interact with suppliers, issue corrective actions and obtain return material authorizations.
• Lead corrective action teams and respond to customer concerns in customer portals.
• Review, report and analyze data.
• Ensuring that document control and record management of documents and procedures within OES meet the requirements of IATF16949, ZF and Customer Requirements.

• Also, responsible for the development of APQP and PPAP documentation for customer submissions.

.  EXPERIENCE:

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience
• 4 + years related experience
• Internal auditing certification in IATF16949 preferred.
• Proficient in SPC, MSA, PPAP and PFMEA preferred.
• Experience in reading blueprints and use of standard shop measurement tools, engineering assembly, component drawings
• Computer skills (i.e. Excel, Word, Microsoft Office).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Problem Solving skills
