Thesis: Validation of a PEM fuel cell stack model

We reinforce our System Analysis Team at our location in Friedrichshafen for a bachelor or master thesis starting with the beginning of winter semester 2022.


Your tasks:

  • Derivation of mathematical fatigue models for PEM fuel cell stacks
  • Implementation of simulation models in an existing framework
  • Analysis of measurement data and identification of model parameters


Your profile:

  • Studying towards a degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, control engineering, energy systems, physics, or similar field of study
  • Experience in modeling and simulating physical systems
  • Experience in fuel cell and electrochemistry are beneficial
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills in English or German
