You will work on the systems of the next generations of automated driving in interdisciplinary and cross-project development teams. You define the architectures of digital integrated circuits (SoCs and ASICs), primarily for control units in the field of autonomous driving. Your job scopes range from defining the requirements and conception of the chip architecture to design review, implementation and application of the chip in series production projects. These tasks require close cooperation with customers, internal and external suppliers, as well as with development partners at international locations.

 

Your tasks:
•    Overall responsibility for the development of the design for heterogeneous, complex SoCs.
•    Analysis and approval of the SoC design, if necessary, including software components; Design of series SoC products.
•    Independent evaluation of new technologies and available IPs (functional and physical).
•    Design of heterogeneous, complex SoCs down to RTL level for digital process technologies in the 7 nm range and small, close cooperation with architecture, simulation and verification team.
•    Integration of licensed IP blocks as well as the in-house development of specific IP blocks according to the architecture requirements.

 

Your profile:
•    Completed university studies in electrical engineering, computer science, or information technology
•    At least 4 years of professional experience in chip development for automotive (alternatively IT, Telekom, Computing,...)
•    Extensive experience in chip and IP development as well as in the semiconductor technology
•    Knowledge in tools for chip and IP development (Synopsys, Cadence, Siemens), in front-end design as well as computer architectures, digital signal processing, CPU, GPU, deep learning networks
•    Good knowledge of spoken and written English, German is a plus
