We are looking for a new colleague in the Business Line Digital Solutions at our location in Friedrichshafen (or any location in Germany / Europe).

 

ZF’s Aftermarket Digital Solutions enable aftermarket customers across application segments (cargo transport, people transport, industrial applications) to radically improve the efficiency, the sustainability and the safety of their operations, while meeting the regulatory and visibility standards of their markets. The solutions are based on a mix of connectivity units installed in the vehicles, communicating with a modern cloud-based IoT, data management and end-user software platform.


Your tasks :

  • Develop commercial growth strategies and roadmaps to drive sales and ensure achievement of business objectives for Bus & OEM Digital Solutions product portfolio in alignment with the Regions and BUs. Analyze local market and maintain knowledge on market trends and competition
  • Forecast existing business and identify new business opportunities; building-up sales pipeline and maintaining customer relationship with relevant contacts for all projects and products and guidance in commercial and technical topics
  • Co-lead negotiations on contracts and pricing; managing and driving profitability of projects/RFQ’s supported by Head of Sales Connectivity Solutions
  • Actively orchestrate cross-functional Teams and Sales activities related to defined product portfolio. Partner with other departments and regional offices of ZF
  • Tracking sales pipelines, initiating countermeasures for deviations from the plan and developing a mid- and long-term sales & price development planning within the area of responsibility. Develop and stabilize indirect sales channel (sales via partners) together with Partner management in the team

 

Your profile:

  • A minimum of 5-10 years‘ experience in Sales and/or Product Management roles in Telematics business working in a multinational environment (Digital sales, SaaS, etc.)
  • Hunter profile to generate Customer-Leads and revenue based on KPI measurement
  • Deep knowledge of a Bus / telematics /connectivity industry as well as ideally an experience with Aftermarket 
  • Ability to orchestrate regional offices; Strong communication and presentation skills. Natural team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Fluent English & German (any other language is a plus). Willingness to travel in the region
