About the team:

This position is part of the ZF ADAS & HPC business unit known internally as "Capri." This business unit is planned for divestiture to Harman International, a Samsung company and global innovator in automotive technology, presenting a unique opportunity to be part of an exciting new chapter in the ADAS space.

 

We are looking for a new colleague to join our Product Conformance department (UDQC) in Friedrichshafen, other Capri locations like Radolfzell or Koblenz are possible as well. 

 

What you can look forward to as Product Compliance Analyst (m/f/d) Legal & Policy Compliant Development:

  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with applicable legal regulations, industry standards, and internal policies for ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and HPC (High-Performance Computing) products
  • Establish, maintain, and continuously improve processes and tools for the identification, assessment, and communication of relevant legal, regulatory, and standards requirements
  • Monitor and evaluate changes in existing regulations and standards, while identifying and assessing new regulatory requirements that may impact products and projects
  • Support the translation of legal, regulatory, and standards requirements into product-specific technical and functional requirements
  • Verify and monitor compliance with applicable regulations and standards throughout the product development lifecycle, including cross-functional reviews of standards and regulatory requirements with product experts and key stakeholders across the division
  • Design and deliver training programs and knowledge-sharing activities to enhance organizational awareness and competence in product compliance
  • Support Intellectual Property (IP) activities by assessing regulatory impacts and contributing compliance-related expertise
  • Act as the Customer Requirements Coordinator for Sustainability and Product Compliance Management System (PCMS) requirements during quotation and bid phases, ensuring


Your profile as Product Compliance Analyst (m/f/d) Legal & Policy Compliant Development:

  • Successfully completed a degree in Business Law, Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable discipline, combined with several years of relevant professional experience in product compliance, regulatory affairs, systems engineering, or automotive development
  • Solid knowledge of international automotive regulations, standards, and compliance frameworks (e.g., functional safety, cybersecurity, software update, sustainability, and product compliance requirements). Experience with ADAS, HPC, embedded systems, or system development processes is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of product development lifecycles in the automotive industry 
  • Demonstrated experience in monitoring and interpreting within complex, cross-functional development environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in conducting trainings, workshops, and knowledge transfer activities to build organizational awareness and competence in regulatory compliance and product governance
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and highly collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills, a high degree of ownership, and the ability to work effectively in an international environment
  • Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage. Willingness to travel globally as required

 

Grading: max. EG15 depending on qualifications and experience
