We are reinforcing our team in the corporate research & development department at our location in Friedrichshafen starting in April 2021
Your tasks:
- Mathematical modelling of an e-bicycle (rigid body dynamics, drivetrain, sensors), its context (driver, road), and the coupling between e-bicycle and context
- Design, implementation, and calibration of a behavioral simulation model
- Model analysis and reduction
- Design, implementation, and validation of embedded algorithms (state estimation, feed-forward/feedback control)
Your profile:
- Master’s degree student in engineering with a background in systems theory, robotics, numerics or machine learning/artificial intelligence
- Experience in Matlab and object-oriented programming
- Passion for automatic control of dynamic systems
- Motivated and willingness to learn new skills
- Excellent communication skills in English or German
