We reinforce our R&D Efficient Power Electronics Team at our location in Friedrichshafen for a Master thesis starting as soon as possible.
This thesis is in the area of control engineering and electric machines.
Your tasks:

  • Development/Advancement of system models in MATLAB/Simulink
  • Implementation of automatic-control methods
  • Development of computational methods and models considering physical relationships
  • Practical investigation in experimental test rigs and validation based on measurements 
  • Literature research to the state-of-the-art as well as documentation of results and pointing out concrete action steps

Your profile:

  • Engineer’s study in electrical engineering, control engineering, mechatronics, or similar
  • Solid knowledge in the area of simulation/computation and control engineering
  • Knowledge in MATLAB/Simulink desired
  • Strong analytical thinking skills as well as the ability to work independently
  • Very good communication skills in English
