We are strengthening our department for event assessments and red teaming for product cybersecurity (DIQS3) in Friedrichshafen (DE) or Farmington Hills (US).

The role covers continuous cybersecurity for all global embedded products in automotive, industrial technology, and further sectors. It requires close collaboration with internal and external customers, with relevant standardization groups and industry panels as well as with development partners across all ZF divisions.

 

Your tasks as Manager Product Cybersecurity Analysis (m/f/d): 

  • Lead a team (functionally and disciplinarily) to monitor cyber threats to our products, especially by continuously evaluating information sources like AUTO-ISAC, vulnerability databases amongst others
  • Establish processes, methods, and tools to grant a quick and effective reaction on potential threats across ZF (incident response)
  • Evaluate weaknesses and attack vectors and agree on appropriate measures with product development, quality, and legal departments
  • Lead a team of ethical hackers which can perform and investigate attacks on ZFs products and which can provide forensic capabilities to ZF
  • Collaboration and representation of ZF in standardization groups and industry panels for product cybersecurity 

 

Your profile as Manager Product Cybersecurity Analysis (m/f/d): 

  • Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science or similar with many years of professional experience
  • Extensive professional experience in embedded/automotive software development; own practical experience with the development of cybersecurity controls and/or hacking experiences is strongly desired
  • Experience with ISO/SAE 21434 and UNECE R155 necessary and strongly networking in the field of product cybersecurity, e.g. with Science, the hacker community, and industry panels desired 
  • First experiences with team leadership strongly desired
  • Fluent English language skills and some willingness to travel required, German language skills desired
