Internship Global Commodity Purchasing - Autonomous Driving (m/f/d)

We are looking for a new colleague in the Global Commodity Purchasing department at our location in Friedrichshafen, starting January 2021 for 6 to 12 months. 


Your tasks:

  • Be part of a global purchasing team and work and experience actively the area of Global Commodity Purchasing where you need to interact with colleagues and suppliers from all over the world
  • Participate at the Quarterly F2F Business reviews with our most important suppliers to discuss future business potentials, leverage possibilities and cost improvements
  • Assistance in requesting and tracking confidentiality agreements in cooperation with the legal department
  • Participation in subtasks in close coordination with other buyers, specialist and cross-sectional areas such as development, quality, logistics, project management, legal and cost engineering
  • Independent evaluation, analysis and preparation of purchasing-relevant data to achieve team and department goals


Your profile:

  • Studies in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, International Business or similar
  • Interested in autonomous driving, purchasing and finance and understanding of complex relationships
  • Expert in MS-Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and Fluent in English & Polish (oral & written)
  • Independent and goal-oriented way of working, in combination with good organizational and communication skills
  • Interested in a possible permanent employment after the internship at our Czestochowo location in Poland
