Guarantee Specialist (f/m/d)

Job Description

We are looking for new colleagues for our finance organization at our location in Friedrichshafen, Germany.

What you can look forward to as Guarantee Specialist (f/m/d):

• Administration of Guarantees, Suretys and Letter of Credits
• Issuing and Amending of Bank and Group-Guarantees
• Review and assess national and international warranties, advise on contract negotiations
• Contact for partner banks for Trade-Finance-purposes; negotiate Bank Fees and Contract Details
• Review country issues and risk assessment
• Monitor and Control Guarantee-lines and Letter of Credit business: availability, pricing and feasibility
• Report and monitor Guarantees worldwide, monitor due dates, return of Guarantees e.g. release of liability
• Review and process warranty draws (demands or extend-or-pay)
• Control and administer fee statements; including intercompany invoicing; passing on of bank fees and calculation of fees for group guarantees in compliance with tax law requirements (transfer pricing)

Your Profile as Guarantee Specialist (f/m/d):

• Experience and Degree in Finance
• Education and work-experience in Treasury-Topics, especially with Trade Finance
• Finance and Accounting Skills
• Legally secure on warranty-topics and their special features
• Skills in Foreign Trade Finance Purposes
• Confident in business discussions and negotiations
• English and German required
