(Mandatory) Internship Remaining Bus Simulation for AD Components

We are looking for an intern in the research & development department at our location in Friedrichshafen for an internship starting in winter semester 2021.

 

In our department, functional and service life tests of control units and sensors are carried out in the early product phase. The service life is checked in environmental simulation systems according to current standards. During the entire test, which usually includes several identical test items, the components are actively operated, i.e. signals and status information are exchanged.

 

Your tasks as Intern Remaining Bus Simulation for AD Components (m/f/d): 

  • Optimization of currently used systems
  • Identification and documentation of weak points
  • Elaboration of proposals for extensions regarding new bus systems

 

Your profile as Intern Remaining Bus Simulation for AD Components (m/f/d): 

  • Pursuing a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering or similar
  • Knowledge of Python, C, Java or comparable, as well as knowledge of UNIX
  • Programming knowledge with real-time systems as well as knowledge of vehicle communication and bus systems is an advantage
  • Independent and responsible way of working and ability to work in a team
  • Excellent English communication skills, German is a plus
