To oversee and monitor area of responsibility KPIs to achieve the competitiveness of B Division by increasing profitability through global price and cost reduction projects within their area of responsibility and region. Implement in the region global strategic orientation within sub domain assigned area through the execution of the global purchasing strategies adapted to product and life cycle. Improve quality of delivery by consistently implementing supplier management
What you can look forward to as a Regional Buyer EU:
- Fix with Global sub domain purchasing manager commercial and contractual agreements for regional suppliers operating globally, regionally and locally ensuring the competitiveness
- Lead the core purchasing processes, from supplier selection (included solicitation of quotations and evaluation under aspects of total cost of ownership) to awarding of the contract through to changing suppliers where appropriate in the region.
- Support strategic capacity management (such as development, production, investment, etc.) of the regional suppliers assigned on the global, regional and local levels.
- Support the release of new regional suppliers for assigned area.
- Maintain Master Data information of regional suppliers
- Identifying and evaluate market trends that are necessary for the purchasing strategy and target achievement and for taking appropriate actions in the region.
- Define, drive and approve change requests
- Implement changes at regional suppliers
- Support supplier regress claim handling and validation
- Support establishment of global objectives by providing regional planning information.
- Oversee the business results for assigned purchasing area in its region, and take actions and monitor their implementation when there are deviations.
- Manage the cost optimization of the product area(s) assigned in its region
Your profile as a Regional Buyer EU (or required skills and experience):
- Bachelor degree in Purchasing or Economics or with equivalent experience in Purchasing - Minimum 2 years’ experience in multicultural negotiation environment (purchasing / sales)
- Advanced in negotiation
- Good communication skills
- Team player experienced in cooperating with multinational team
- Good analytical skills
- Good knowledge of supply market
- Project Management skills, able to plan, coordinate, control and proactively steer projects.
- Fluent proficiency in English both written and spoken
- Czech language level min B1 is necessary
- advantage: Technical understanding of braking automotive spare parts
- advantege: Regional supplier market knowledge for braking automotive spare parts
- In this role, it is expected to frequently travel to meet suppliers and team members in the region. It is also expected a good tolerance to stress.
