About the team:

Become a part of our dynamic global Aftermarket Purchasing Team, focusing on the European market. You'll work closely with colleagues in Neuwied (DE) and Frydlant (CZ), managing diverse purchasing activities for production material and single pack parts, ready for distribution through our European warehouse network. This position offers a great mix of operational, strategic, and project-based activities — including VAVE projects, new supplier scouting, market analysis, and technology innovations for the aftermarket sector.

What can you look forward to as Regional Buyer (m/f/d)?

• Manage commercial and contractual negotiations with regional suppliers, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with global strategy.
• Lead end-to-end purchasing processes from supplier scouting to awarding contracts and managing supplier changes.
• Initiate and coordinate VAVE and cost optimization projects within your product area.
• Actively search for new suppliers, technologies, and attend relevant trade fairs within Europe.
• Cooperate with global and regional cross-functional teams on projects, capacity planning, and supplier development.
• Analyze market trends and price developments to adjust purchasing strategies and secure supply chain performance.
• Take responsibility for assigned product lines (brake discs & actuation) for OES and IAM markets.

Your profile as Regional Buyer (m/f/d)?

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Purchasing, or relevant field.
• At least 2 years' experience in purchasing or sales in an international environment.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, comfortable in multicultural teams.
• Analytical mindset with good knowledge of supply markets and TCO methodology.
• Experience in project management and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Fluent English (spoken & written), Czech min. B1.
• Advantage: Technical understanding of braking systems and knowledge of European supplier market.
• Proactive, flexible personality with a passion for dynamic, varied work.
