What you can look forward to as Logistics Process Planner

 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the layout, infrastructure, and equipment requirements for the distribution center.
  • Plan and execute the setup process, including warehouse design, storage allocation, racking systems, and material handling equipment.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of required equipment and materials.
  • Analyze the existing supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize lead times.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including operations managers, IT teams, and vendors, to align on project requirements and timelines.
  • Provide guidance and expertise to the implementation team throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Foster effective communication channels to address any challenges or issues that may arise during the implementation phase.

 

 

Your Profile as Logistics Process Planner

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably with a focus on distribution center setup and implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of distribution center operations, including warehouse layout, equipment, and storage systems.
  • Familiarity with lean principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and inventory management techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English. Proficiency in Czech. (knowledge of the local business environment is advantageous)
