Learning Content Specialist/ Instructional Designer

Main accountabilities:


We are looking for a professional Instructional Designer to design and develop our digital learning and product training experiences for Aftermarket´s customers in Prague office (Waltrovka office - Jinonice). The main goal is to update & uplift our existing technical eLearning courses to better facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies in an effective and appealing manner.

 


What you can look forward to as Learning Content Specialist:

 

  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and knowledge transfer
  • Work with subject matter experts and identify target audience’s training needs
  • State instructional end goals and create content that matches them
  • Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts
  • Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods
  • Provide exercises and activities that enhance engagement in the learning process
  • Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc)
  • Decide on the criteria used to judge learner’s performance and develop appropriate assessment instruments
  • Maintain project documentation and course assets

 


Required skills:

 

  • Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology
  • In-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
  • Flash programming knowledge and basic HTML knowledging is plus
  • Solid knowledge of course development softwares and its communication with LMS
  • Visual design skills (e.g. Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to create course storyboards
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
  • BS or MA degree in instructional design, educational technology or similar is a plus
