What you can look forward to as Head of Distribution Center (m/f/d):

• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning within the team, encouraging professional growth and skill enhancement.
• Strategize and execute recruitment efforts to acquire top talent, ensuring the team is adequately staffed with skilled individuals.
• Meticulously manage and drive performance of the comprehensive Key Performance Indicator (KPI) framework
• Apply and help enhance with the central team real-time monitoring and analysis of KPIs, allowing for proactive identification of areas for improvement and immediate response to deviations from performance benchmarks.
• Develop comprehensive risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address potential disruptions in the supply chain or distribution processes.
• Drive innovation initiatives, leveraging cutting-edge technology and automation where applicable to optimize warehouse processes and enhance overall efficiency.
• Install a data-driven culture, leveraging analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement, enhance decision-making, and drive operational excellence.
• Develop scalable operational models that allow for flexibility to adapt to market demands and business needs.

Your Profile as Head of Distribution Center (m/f/d): 

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Proven experience as a Site Manager, preferably in leading large-scale distribution centers or logistics environments and strong knowledge of LEAN/Six Sigma
• Excellent leadership skills, and communication skills at all levels with a proven ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve outstanding results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, adept at identifying and addressing business risks and issues.
• Strong technical capabilities for Warehousing material handling systems and Automation.
• Fluency in both Czech and English (written and verbal); proficiency in German is considered a strong advantage.
• Willingness to travel as needed, both domestically and internationally (10% - 15% within Europe).
• Basic knowledge of Czech labor laws, regulations, and business practices preferred.
