Global Process Expert - Customer Order Management

Objective: The Global Process Expert - Customer Order Management is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing end-to-end processes related to customer order management across the organization. The role is critical in ensuring seamless customer experiences, efficient order processing, and timely order fulfillment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement standardized processes and procedures for customer order management, including order capture, validation, fulfillment, and delivery using SAP ERP systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, logistics, and finance to ensure alignment and integration of order management processes in SAP.
  • Analyze current order management practices and identify opportunities for improvement in terms of efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction using SAP tools such as SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and SAP Materials Management (MM).
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to order management in SAP, including order accuracy, on-time delivery, and order cycle time.
  • Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders to ensure adherence to standard processes and procedures in SAP.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to order management in SAP.



  • 3+ years of experience in customer order management, preferably in a global, multi-channel environment using SAP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement in SAP.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in SAP.
  • Experience with SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and SAP Materials Management (MM) modules related to order management in SAP.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within established timelines in SAP.
  • Experience with change management and process optimization initiatives in SAP.


Reporting: The Global Process Expert - Customer Order Management reports to the Director of Global Operations Excellence.
