Electronic/ECU Test Engineer

Your tasks:

 

  • Analysis of various types of ECUs used in passenger cars and commercial vehicles for hardware failures, errors and possibility to re-use. Definition and preparation of validation and in-process tests.
  • Development and maintenance of Design Verification Process & Requirements throughout program development cycle.
  • Analysis and documenting of requirements related to test and product capability.
  • Defining and supporting components/system validation and in-process testing, development of internal test procedures and work instructions.
  • Responsibility for the review and assessment of test results against internal and customer acceptance requirements.
  • Maintenance of technical knowledge of electronic components including technologies, manufacturing processes, failure modes, etc.

 

Your profile:

 

  • Very good knowledge about HW and SW interfaces and HW and SW architecture in automotive
  • Knowledge of Electrical / EMC validation testing
  • Experience with diagnostic tools (such as Vector CANape, CANalyzer, etc.),  and other tools (LabVIEW, Excel VBA, C/C++ or other programming languages)
  • Understanding of electronic components, their technologies, construction, materials, failure modes and applications
  • Experience with circuit simulation tools
  • Possesses good organizational and communication skills (written & verbal), good level of  English
  • As advantage: knowledge of digital and analog electronic circuits; orientation in PCB layout design and electronic devices production
