ECU Test Engineer

Your tasks:

 

  • Analysis of various types of ECUs used in passenger cars and commercial vehicles for hardware failures, errors and possibility to re-use. Definition and preparation of validation and in-process tests.
  • Analysis and documenting of requirements related to test and product capability.
  • Defining and supporting components/system validation and in-process testing, development of internal test procedures and work instructions.

 

 

Make a difference:

 

  • Support the circular economy by analyzing and developing remanufacturing processes to re-use electronic and mechatronic products for the aftermarket.
  • Help reduce the overall carbon footprint of products by reusing existing products and preparing for a second life.

 

Your profile:

 

  • Experience in hardware and software interfaces used in industrial/automotive applications (preffered experience in PLC, embedded systems/microcontrollers  programming, CAN bus diagnostic interfaces)
  • Knowledge of Electrical/Electronic diagnostic and testing (components measurements, on-board testing, etc.)
  • Possesses good organizational and communication skills (written & verbal), good level of  English
  • As advantage: knowledge of CAN bus diagnostic tools (such as Vector CANape, CANalyzer, etc.) and other tools (LabVIEW, Excel VBA, C/C++ or other programming languages)
  • As advantage: knowledge of digital and analog electronic circuits; orientation in PCB layout design and electronic devices production
