Maintenance Manager

We are looking for a new colleague in the Maintenance Department at our location in Findlay, OH.  

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Manages and develops plant maintenance and facilities staff ensuring that they are adequately trained and motivated to carry out the maintenance programs in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner
  • Overall responsibility for the plant maintenance program based on best practices with an emphasis on preventative & predictive maintenance while planning/scheduling in coordination with operations
  • Reviews the operation of plant equipment and systems to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner
  • Responsible to identify opportunities for improvement to increase efficiency and/or reduce operating costs relating to maintenance and facilities functions
  • Ensures training manuals and related documentation within the maintenance and facilities teams are maintained and updated
  • Provides support and technical expertise to the operations management team regarding OEM’s, suppliers and maintenance related topics and initiatives as required
  • Fosters cooperation and effective communication between the various maintenance and facilities teams, and with internal customers, with a view on a positive customer service experience

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelors degree in a technical field, or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years of experience overseeing plant maintenance program and maintenance personnel
  • Possesses experience and exposure to production/manufacturing environments with specific experience working with highly specialized equipment, processes, tooling, techniques and methods
  • Demonstrated ability to provide direction, including providing advice and influencing personnel to make good decisions, improve equipment performance and successfully implement component/equipment upgrade programs
