Job Description

This position will support Global Engineering and SGA Finance team. Support R&D/SGA Reporting Units in multiple regions for month end close, mid-month forecast, & OP/SP process and global performance target achievement. This position is part of ZF’s ADAS & HPC business, which is entering an exciting new phase of growth and transformation within the advanced automotive technology space. The business unit is planned for divestiture, creating a unique opportunity to help shape the future of next-generation driver assistance and high-performance computing technologies.

 

What you can look forward to as Senior Financial Analyst- Global Controlling:

  • Analyzing variances to walk deviations for global consolidation including Sales, Costs, Capital expenditures, Headcount, and NPM tracking.
  • Oberseeing implementation of the actual reporting including deviation analyses and, if necessary, determination of measures to achieve goals together with the relevant departmental function manager
  • Developing systematic approach for variance controlling with special focus on intercompany charges and engineering recovery
  • Leading global reporting streamline process with standard templates and possible digital solutions including identify solutions for system issues.
  • Collaborating with engineering and global domain function stakeholders for project cost management.
  • Implementing for compliance with global instruction and policies.
  • Monitoring the development of costs and following up on the agreed measures, ensure proper measure tracking and reporting
  • Being able to utilize ZF reporting tools to provide detailed analysis to management team and respond to tasks
  • Supporting meeting organization and presentation as well as Ad-Hoc reporting request from the management team.  

 

Your Profile as Senior Financial Analyst- Global Controlling:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or related field required
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in finance / controlling, especially in planning / reporting
  • Experience in interdisciplinary project work
  • Targeted and careful way of working combined with very good analytical skills
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Power point, Word, Access)
  • ERP system experience (SAP – OR9 and ZP1) 
  • Excellent communication skills in an international environment 
  • High flexibility, resilience, and interest in new challenges
  • Knowledge of modern quantitative and qualitative financial techniques
