Program Purchasing Manager Camera Portfolio

Responsibilities

• Program Purchasing Manager for assigned products and team members
• Lead On-Time Sourcing for assigned programs  and execute through SAB/SDB at the defined cost targets
• Support On-Time PPAP for assigned programs to execute PPAP
• Support 100% scheduling agreements in place by PV program milestone
• Lead BOM to Sales Ratio Improvement & Tracking
• Drive Cost Savings (Negotiations & VA/VE) for assigned portfolio(s)
• Support New Business Quotes (CQAs)
• Ensure of material availability for all pre-production builds and serial production (as required)
• Manage Critical Supply Issues
• VA/VE Lead for assigned portfolio(s)
• Key Role in Customer Recovery (Electronic Part Pricing & Other Inflation) – Update Costed BOMs & CQAs
• Support Supplier Cost Recovery (quality claims, delivery claims, SRC expense recovery) as required
• Long Rang Planning (LRP) & OP Lead for assigned portfolio
• Review Last Time Buys (LTB) with Program Buyers & Portfolio before presenting to Div. U Finance

Qualifications:

• Business and/or Engineering Degree
• At least 10 years of experience in purchasing or related field
• Strong negotiations skills (based on “should cost” data)
• Strong data analytical & Excel skills, experience managing “big data” required
• Electronics knowledge is a plus
• Must be fluent in English, German is a plus
