Principal Electronics Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and own electrical development activities for ADAS Camera development (ECU)
  • Design and drive delivery of Electrical deliverables in accordance with the project scope and milestones as defined by the project plan
  • Responsible for electrical aspects of product development from architecture design till production support
  • Evaluate project level Hardware issue/risk/changes and manage as per EEPM process
  • Execute Hardware design testing, verification, and validation
  • Perform and/or review Component level Worst Case Analysis,  DFMEA, Signal Integrity and Power Integrity
  • Define, plan and ensure on time execution of Hardware testing in accord with overall project test
  • Review and approve Hardware test results of both proto type and production run
  • Execute Electrical Engineering release and ensure on time electrical deliverables for EEPM gate releases
  • Coordinate with PCB team in PCB layout activity of product development (ECU)
  • Coordinate with mechanical team for alignment of electro-mechanical topics
  • Coordinate for components procurement with the purchasing team
  • Extend support for components shortage, replacement strategies, etc.,
  • Lead Hardware bring-up and functional verification for prototype and production run
  • Monitor the BOM cost and define corrective actions to reach defined target jointly with the EPM and Purchasing
  • Peform Rootcause analysis  on electrical replated product performance failure.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years years of hardware design required
  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Electronics or related field
