Engineer II-Algorithm

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and test algorithms for perception or driving functions

  • Develop functional system requirements from customer requirements

  • Develop algorithm requirements from system level requirements

  • Demonstrate algorithm performance to internal and external customers

  • Analyze data from vehicle tests or synthetic tests

  • Develop test scripts for algorithm testing

  • Negotiate algorithm requirements with customer

  • Integrate algorithms into Base Software

  • Conduct algorithm development test (Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and In-Vehicle)

  • Support algorithm integration into ECU

  • Support tool chain developments for SIL or Continuous Integration (CI)

  • Support algorithm project lead with effort estimations and planning

 

 

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in engineering

  • 3-5+ years of directly related automotive experience

  • Experience with coding in C

  • Experience with model based development in Simulink

  • Experience with scripting in Python

  • Experience with (automotive) Radar/Lidar/Camera perception algorithms or ADAS functions

  • Experience with testing environments for static, dynamic white box tests and algorithm black box tests (QAC, Cantata, Polyspace etc.), Continuous Integration

  • Experience with vehicle integration of automotive sensors such as Radars, Lidars or Cameras

  • Knowledge of (automotive) SPICE und ISO26262

  • You are a teamplayer, driven and structured, can communicate well with customers and suppliers, enjoy working in an intercultural and intercontinental team, available to travel (10%)

  • Valid drivers license

  • Desired: German language skills
