About the team:

We are looking for a Smart Factory Regional Process Expert. This key person is responsible for the Digitalization in the North America region, driving the Plants to Digital Standardization and improvements for the manufacturing performance, using the data from our corporate strategic systems to create interfaces and direct consulting’s for KPI’s for Operation Team (Maintenance \ Production \ Quality \ Logistics, HR). Be part of the new organization structure for the Industry 4.0 and Digitalization for Division C.

What you can look forward to as Smart Factory Regional Process Expert:

• Act as the North America regional representative driving all plant-related Digitalization and Industry 4.0 (I4.0) initiatives; report to the Smart Factory Regional Manager.
• Develop and execute I4.0 roadmaps for each plant based on maturity assessments and gap-closure workshops.
• Own and manage the regional digitalization project portfolio, coordinating all plant-level I4.0 and smart factory initiatives.
• Align and integrate plant projects with the regional DPS team (e.g., ERP, PLM, DMP, MES) and Smart Factory standards.
• Coordinate Citizen Development and Digital Cell solutions, including support and sustainment of existing applications.
• Ensure economic benefits of projects through S-CALC and CIS measures; maintain reporting via Power BI and regular updates to Plant Managers.
• Guide plants on IT infrastructure, shopfloor systems, machine connectivity, and compliance with ProSA, PITS, PMO, and Quality requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement (Kaizen, 5S, CI), knowledge transfer, and cross-functional collaboration across plants and regions.

Your Profile as Smart Factory Regional Process Expert:

• Full professional English proficiency (bilingual) and a completed Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating strong and progressive leadership.
• Analytical and data-driven profile, with proven capability in data analytics and decision-making.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple conflicting tasks, solving problems independently and collaboratively.
• Proficient in Office, Excel, Project, and Power BI, with experience using Microsoft Framework (C#, SQL, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint).
• Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases, with basic understanding or ability to learn Lean Manufacturing.
• Strong expertise in Industry 4.0 technologies (IoT, Big Data, Machine Learning, AR/VR) and programming skills.
• Effective communicator (verbal, written, presentations), willing to travel up to 50%, and open to training in ERP functions and MES support.
