The Quality Department at ZF Group plays a critical role in ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. As a Tier 1 automotive supplier, our team is dedicated to delivering defect-free components and systems to our OEM partners through a robust quality management system and a culture of continuous improvement.

What you can look forward to as Quality Engineer?

• Proficiency in metallographic sample preparation and analysis.
• Understanding of failure mechanisms: fatigue, corrosion, wear, overload, etc.
• Experience with fractography using optical and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
• Familiarity with destructive and non-destructive testing methods (e.g., tensile, hardness, impact, ultrasonic, dye penetrant).
• Ability to interpret and apply standards such as ASTM, ISO, and NMX.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and chemical handling procedures.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant lab environment.

Your Profile as Quality Engineer:

• Technical diploma or bachelor's degree in: Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related fields.
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in a materials testing or metallurgical laboratory.
• Proven experience in analyzing failures in metallic and polymeric components.
• Operation and maintenance of lab equipment: cutting machines, mounting presses, polishing units, microscopes, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple samples and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting.
