We are looking for a AME Engineer Machining in the Advanced Manufacturing Department for our Chassis Solutions Group.

Responsibilities as AME Engineer:

• OPH machining process development towards core process results and performance 

  • Creation of process simulations CAD/CAM and tryouts on CNC machine

  • Measurement reports analysis and action plan creation

  • Optical control results analysis and action plan creation

• HP process development and setup process parameters 

  • HP process planning, PLC/NC program creation and execution

• Link between Machining and post Machining processes in Plant like mechanical abd water deburring, washing, cleaning, general chemical treatment of surfaces and its effect for further processes and Product functionality.

• Link with Global cleanliness development Team

• Link with Global Brake Controls AME for process changes as well as with feedback about performance onsite.

• Analyze, develop and implement DFM and DFA with Engineering. Planning and leading supporting activities in the plant (tests, tryouts).

• Active participation in process launch at machine supplier and industrialization for deburring and supporting cleaning processes.

• Provide technical support and design changes and updates for tooling/machine sequence and chemical content of process. Ensure effective implementation.

Required qualifications:

• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering

• Mechanical Interpretation experience/knowledge.- (3 years desirable)

• Six Sigma Green Belt (desirable)

• Technical drawings knowledge/interpretation

Desired qualifications:

• Familiar with Product Functionality and Testing requirements and Customer requirements

• Knowledge on DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Capability

• Knowledge of international standards (SAE, ISO etc.)
