The Production team at ZF focuses on ensuring efficient, safe, and high‑quality manufacturing operations. The department operates in a dynamic environment that requires strong coordination, continuous improvement, and adherence to global standards. Team members collaborate closely with quality, maintenance, logistics, and engineering to meet customer requirements and drive operational excellence.

What you can look forward to as Production Unit Team Leader:

• Overseeing daily production activities to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and productivity targets.
• Managing personnel, including shift coordination, task assignment, and performance monitoring.
• Ensuring adherence to production processes for machining, metal‑mechanical, and assembly operations.
• Monitoring and interpreting production KPIs to support continuous improvement.
• Leading problem‑solving activities and applying Lean Manufacturing tools.
• Supporting internal and external audits (IATF 16949, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, LPA).
• Coordinating with cross‑functional areas such as Quality, Operations, and Engineering.
• Promoting a culture of responsibility, empowerment, and compliance with 5S.

Your Profile as Production Unit Team Leader:

• Engineering background related to production processes is preferred. 
• Experience in machining, metal‑mechanical, and automatized assembly production environments (minimum 3 years).
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, process measurement systems (e.g., R&R), and problem‑solving methodologies.
• Familiarity with standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, CTPAT/OEA.
• Intermediate English, preferably with technical vocabulary.
• Skilled in using Microsoft Office and production indicators.
• Strong competencies in leadership, anticipation, diversity, and problem solving mindset. 
• Ability to work rotating shifts.
