About the Team

This position must make sure planners are processing, analyzing and communicating components requirements to suppliers, aligned with Production Plan/MPS to ensure on time delivery to customers by optimizing transportation costs and maintaining inventory levels according to internal targets. Responsible for achieving Supplier Delivery Performance by giving proper follow and avoiding any line disruptions. And making sure all shipments are scheduled and followed by the traffic specialist by optimizing regular/expedited freights, OP plan must be achieved.

• Achieve inventory target and regular/premium freight vs budget
• 0 production impacts due to lack of components
• Identify and meet CIS (savings) targets by optimizing freights and suppliers shipments
• Meet new projects due dates by giving proper follow up and be aligned to Projects team
• Working and negotiating with suppliers if any delivery issue to avoid any potential risk
• Daily and on time communication with MPS team to escalate any risk on the MPS plan
• Penalize suppliers for not meeting ZF standars and policies
• Process standardization 

Your Profile as Materials Planning Chief:

• A minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar role.  
• MRP system Knowledge ( QAD, SAP, etc)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy when managing inventory data
• English 100% - Written and spoken
