Materials Planner

About the Team

Materials Planner Team is responsible for processing, analyzing and communicating components requirements to suppliers, aligned with Production Plan/MPS to ensure on time delivery to customers by optimizing transportation costs and maintaining inventory levels according to internal targets. Responsible for achieving Supplier Delivery Performance by giving proper follow and avoiding any line disruptions.

What you can look forward to as Material Planner?

• Process, analysis and provide proper follow up for raw material requirements to cover customer´s demand, plan and react according to MPS changes and avoid having line disruptions by optimizing transportation costs and improving trucks utilization %.
• Maintaining accurate records of Materials Planning, including tracking, measurement, reporting and analysis of performance data
• Monitor inventory levels and review suppliers releases to prevent overstocking or running out of materials
• Managing relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery and compliance with terms of contracts
• Communicates any issues or delays in shipments to impacted areas with corrective action plans and timings for resolution
• Keep strong communication with vendors under performing to receive a recovery plan to avoid any line impact.
• Analyze data to determine the need for restocking or replenishing inventory
• Achieve OP inventory /ITR targets on a monthly basis.

Your Profile as Materials Planner:

• 1+ years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Bachelor´s Degrees.
• Fluent English.
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments (especially for roles in production-based industries)
• Planning & Forecasting, Inventory Management, Understanding of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and inventory control, Analytical Skills, Communication Skills, Problem-Solving.
• APICS CPIM.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
