About the Team

The Plant El Marqués Materials team is responsible for ensuring stable and efficient end-to-end material flow to support production and customer delivery. The team works closely with Production Planning, Purchasing, Logistics, and external suppliers to align demand, supply, and inventory targets. With a strong focus on operational excellence, the team drives continuous improvement initiatives to optimize inventory, transportation costs, and supplier performance. Collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and proactive risk management are key success factors in the team.

What you can look forward to as Expert Demand and Planning:

• Manage end-to-end demand and material planning activities aligned with the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to ensure uninterrupted production and on-time customer delivery.
• Analyze and release material requirements to suppliers, reacting proactively to demand changes while optimizing inventory levels and transportation costs.
• Monitor supplier delivery performance, ensuring recovery plans are in place to avoid line disruptions and achieve operational targets.
• Track, analyze, and report material planning KPIs such as inventory levels, ITR, and supplier performance on a regular basis.
• Coordinate daily follow-up on critical components and escalate risks in a timely manner to internal stakeholders.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives by minimizing premium freight, optimizing truck utilization, and proposing Continuous Improvement (CIS) actions.

Your Profile as Expert Demand and Planning:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in material planning, demand planning, or supply chain operations within an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Solid knowledge of MRP systems (e.g., SAP, QAD) and planning concepts such as Kanban, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and Data Analysis.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
