Your tasks:

• Strategic sourcing for forgings
• Manage supply base and drive cost savings in order to improve overall productivity, profitability and supplier competitiveness
• Drive development and implementation of the global part family strategy, which includes deep analysis of the supply base capabilities as well as quality and technology required to support the specific part family needs
• Global lead of part family strategy
• Lead supplier negotiations, global benchmarks, and support VA/VE measures considering annual saving targets. Define and negotiate purchasing contracts, Supply and Warranty Agreements, in addition to other contracts and legal documentation
• Maintain frequent cross functional communication (Quality, Supplier Development, Engineering, Operations) to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and future business leverage

Your profile:

• University degree in technical or commercial field 
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in supply chain and strong negotiation skills 
• Knowledge of English and  Hungarian, German would be an advantage
• Experience in project management methods 
• High level communication skills; willingness to travel
• Knowledge of Ms Office package, SAP would be an asset
