Position Summary:
The IT Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the IT infrastructure in ZF locations in Eger and Budapest, including office spaces and plant areas. This role includes administering servers, storage, local networks, and phone systems, as well as supporting digitalization initiatives and ensuring IT security compliance.

What you can look forward to as IT System Admin:

• Administer and support IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, and telecommunication systems across all office and plant areas.
• Implement security measures, such as patches and updates, to protect company data and uphold robust IT security practices at the site level.
• Manage a broad spectrum of workplace technology and department-specific devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, printers, and other media technology.
• Assist in digitalization efforts for plant operations, including initiatives related to Digital Manufacturing Platforms, automation, and infrastructure enhancements.
• Collaborate closely with business units to understand requirements and deliver flexible, innovative IT solutions that support business goals.
• Partner with various IT workstreams to support automation, self-service, and digital initiatives, ensuring successful implementation and adherence to global standards.
• Provide support for Corporate/Regional/Country Infrastructure Services, participating in global rollouts and changes while ensuring compliance with technology standards.
• Enhance the service-oriented approach of the IT department, focusing on user satisfaction and efficient service delivery.
• Contribute to reducing technical debt by streamlining and improving the management of IT-managed infrastructure.

Your profile as IT System Admin:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure management and support.
• Strong understanding of IT security protocols and data protection.
• English language skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
