About the Position

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for defining, supporting and developing all functional classifications and strategies within the Logistics Category of Region North America (F-ALLN) to ensure supply chain operation efficiency.  

 

What you can look forward to as Supply Chain Manager: 

  • Directing an effective and economical logistics system.
  • Directing efficient inventory control based on corporate/plant goals, target setting, and ensuring efficient use of MRP driven material system (SAP).
  • Interface with Customer, Region LMC, Global LMC, F-ALL Strategic Logistics
  • Ongoing development of material and logistics policies that comply with Company and Governmental requirements.
  • Directing accurate and efficient shipping/receiving functions.
  • Ensuring a timely, accurate, and effective communication with internal or external customers and ensure compliance with customer requirements    
  • Directing cost-effective packaging method for inbound and outbound freight.    
  • Budgeting manpower, equipment, capital, and resources necessary to meet customer and company requirements and assure adherence to the approved budget    
  • Establishing department goals with relevant measures and monitor trends.
  • Communicating to department personnel regarding department, plant, region and global activities and issues in accordance with Company Communications Policy
  • Leading & Understanding Foreign Trade Zone and U.S. Customs and Border Protection regulations


Your profile as Supply Chain Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years supervisory/managerial experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Logistics or related field.
  • Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to multi-task.    
  • Ability for travel-both domestic and foreign.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.    
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
